Art of Estimation
Stop guessing, start estimating!
Estimating supports good project management and business decision making. So how can we produce more accurate estimates of a project’s cost, schedule, resource and benefits? This short, interactive tutorial will introduce the proven concepts of robust estimating.
But estimating is both a science and an art. By art, we mean a skill, a skill that needs to be practiced and learned. For example, which methods are available, and is one better than the other? When is top-down the right approach, and when is bottom-up to be preferred? How do you convince others to trust in your estimate? We will cover these and more in this tutorial.
